Bristol
based Orchard Computer Services has announced the acquisition
of Computer Support Ltd. The combined operation creates
a major new player in IT support, now offering one of
the best 'one-stop' sources of help for businesses in
the south west.
Founded in 1990, Orchard Computers, is an independent
supplier of ICT products & services and a Microsoft
Gold certifed partner. The firm works with businesses
across the South West providing a full IT management
service from sourcing and installing systems through
to day to day technical support via a telephone helpdesk
and desk side service aswell as its own in-house cabling
service for Cat5/Cat6 and Fibre Cable.
Computer Support Ltd, which has provided help for the
computing needs of SMEs since 1987 will join the Orchard
team bringing the total number of staff to 18. Founder
and Managing Director of the firm, Ray Smith, joins
the Orchard management team, Ian Terry, Hardial Sond
and Chris Patten.
